Recently voted as one of the Best Events in Virginia's Piedmont Region by readers of Piedmont Virginian magazine, The Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour turns five this year.
This two-day, fall getaway event held Nov. 7-8 takes advantage of the beautiful autumn colors in scenic Rappahannock County to set the stage for showcasing the works of more than 50 professional artists. Many of the artists will display and sell their work at their private home studios which are scattered throughout the hills and dales of this scenic rural county.
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) sponsors this fundraising event which fosters the arts through community arts-related programs. The Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Admission is $10 per person, which is used to support RAAC's community artsrelated programs.
