"One of the great features of this art tour is that it gives attendees the unique pleasure of visiting artists in their very own studios and seeing their works in progress,” Adams said. "After all, an artist’s studio environment can actually inspire the artistic process. With this studio and gallery tour, RAAC reaches out through the Mid-Atlantic region to introduce many others to the unique beauty of our county, both the natural beauty, and the beauty that has been created by so many local talented artists with regional and national recognition," concluded Adams.
The festival can be experienced as a day-long event or a weekend stay. Brochures encourage patronage of local restaurants, retail shops and inns, many of which will plan special promotions or events for that weekend.
