This is the third full year that Stacey Brown, administrative assistant in the economic development office, has been involved with the farm tour.
"When you do this you realize what is out there and how farms actually work," she said. "People even come from big cities and from out of state and bring kids who have never seen a real working farm. A lot of people don’t realize what an impact farming has on the local economy.
