"When folks talk about local industry, agriculture doesn't always get included,” Sachs said. "But for Culpeper County it's one of the key industries, just as businesses like Continental Teves and Terremark are. The Board of Supervisors sees the farm tour as one way to let people know what's involved with agribusiness and the amount of effort people have to put in to produce food, which we take for granted."
