Operetta To Be Presented

The operetta, “The Minister's Aunt” consisting: of three acts, by Elsie Yale, which was presented last week by the glee club of the Washington High School, under the direction of Mrs. Kathryn Wood Cahen, county music supervisor, will be presented a second time by popular demand at the Washington High School auditorium Friday, May 26, at 8 p.m.
Those having major, roles are Aunt Adeline, Jo Ellen Worth;' Irene, Lois Beverly Walter; Mrs. Watkins, Helen Nethers; Mrs. Miggs, Helen Zinn; Mrs. Bagley, Lois Racer; Mrs. Dobbs, Jean Hawkins; Mrs. Harper, Mary Kay Fincham; choir director, William Burke; and Bob Bently, Newbill Miller.
Solos will be sung by Jo Ellen Worth, Charles Scroggins, Lois Walter, Dorothy Prints, Barbara Fincham, and Helen Zinn. Lucy Mae Smith will be the accompanist at the piano. ■ The public is cordially invited to attend. No admission will be charged.
The Sperryville High School Glee Club, Bn R. M. Menefee, Mrs. Harry Trescott, and Mrs.. H. B. Winfrey are invited to attend the operetta in a group.
