Wins First Place Award
Competing against utility companies of similar sise from coast to coast, the Potomac Edison System this month was awarded first place in two divisions in the 1950 Better Copy Contest of the Public Utilities Advertising Association.
One first prise was awarded to the Potomac Edison News, the company’s employee publication. -Fred Haines and Dick Sheets of the Luray Nothern Virginia Power Company office are staff members of this publication.
Another top prise went to Potomac Edison's material sent to commercial and industrial customers.
