News has been received by friends of the serious illness of Mrs. Maggie Johnson Whjte, who suffered a severe heart attach which hospitalized her for several days. Later reports are that she is slightly improved and has been moved to her apartment in Washington, D.C. • ' James Atkins and his sister, Mies Margaret Atkins spent Monday in Charlottesville, where Miss Atkins had a check-up at the University hospital. It is gratifying to know that Miss Atkins’ condition is very much improved and she is now able to be out.
Mrs. Lester Yates and her infant daughter, Janet Edna, who spent last week with her sisterin-law Mrs. Harry Brubaker, in Luray, after leaving the Page Memorial hospital, returned to her home near Sperryville Sunday afternoon.
