Last week a floor sanding demonstration was held at the home of. Kiss Nellie Johnson, Woodville. The H.D. Club and persons in the nearby community were invited to attend to see how this process was done, but, due to the steady rain during the day only a few were able to attend. The floors were very pretty when completed. Anyone interested in “Sanding their own floors,” call the Home Agent's, office, and she will be glad to aid you* in -any way she cab. • .

The agent told the group about the District Home Demonstration meeting held in Fairfax on the 2nd of May. Then a demonstration whs given to the group on “Window Treatment." The hostess served candy at the end of the meeting.
A meeting of the Flint Hill Home Demonstrationv Club -was held at the heme of Mrs. Julie Settle May Id, at 7:30 p.m. The agent announced a food leader training meeting to he held on the 24th of May. Mts. Gallic Smith and Mrs. Fannie Eaetham are to represent this group at the meeting. Other items of business were taken up,' after which a recreational program eras carried on by Mri Barbara Gentry. Many types ef games were played by the group. The hostess served very .^delicious refreshments which wound up the game playing just perfect. '-4. §* The Woodville 'Home Demonstration Club, met at the home of -Mrs. R. M. Johnson May 17, at -2 p.m. This club also'learned different types of games, that can be enjoyed at parties or picnics by all age groups. The agent passed out 2 small recipe booklets, one on “Chinese Cookery" and one on “Tasty Treats with Toasted Cubes." Also information was passed out on “How to obtain a good stand of grass."
