School Picnic a Success
Forty-seven high school students accompanied by Mr. Winfrey and Mrs. Jack Bruce, left for- Washington, D.C., at 9 a.m. Friday. “Mutt” Atkina drove the bus. The group visited the Lincoln Memorial, Monument, Smithsonian Institute, the Capitol, Library of Congress, Medical Muaeufn, and the Department of Justice. After visiting these places the group went to Glen Echo. The trip proved to be very entertaining, as well as educational.
I hope the paymaster doesn't read this but the fact is that I have more fun working than playing.
