Wild Turkey Production
Boosted 25 Per Cent
Unless the unforseen happens, and barring accidents, Virginia . sportsmen should see their wild turkey production boosted by 25 per cent this year, so announced officials of the Virginia Game Commission recently.
According to Chester P. Phelps chief of the Commission’s Game Division, the wild turkeys at the Cumberland Game Farm are giving good egg production, and if all goes well the number of birds raised this year should amount to 1,500 birds.
