Tuesday, May 1, there will be a district meeting held in Winchester at the new James Wood High School. This is going to be a very interesting meeting. It will start promptly at 10 a.m. In the morning rwill be held the business part of the meeting; in the afternoon there will he an entertainment for all present. Around! 13 adjoining counties will be represented by Home Demonstration women at this meeting. Some of the interesting items on the program will be:
Mrs; C. E. Myers, Virginia federation president, will discuss “Our Federation—Its Aims and Accomplishments.”
Miss Mary Louise Collings, office of field studies, Extension Service, U. S. Department of Agriculture, will have as her topic “The Family’s Responsibility in the World Today.” Miss Collings has just returned from a year’s work with homemakers in Japan.
