Drainage Demonstration
Set For Friday, April 27
A discussion.and demonstration on drainage problems will be held Friday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Washington Firehouse, states W. H. Lyne, county agent.
The program will include discussion on surface and underground drainage as well as draining wet land with the use of blasting dynamite. This discussion Iwill be lead by J. A. Waller, agricultural engineer of VPI, with the use of chart illustrations.
At 1:15 p.m. a demonstration on ditching with dynamite will be conducted at the E. M. Jones farm by W. R. Robinson, Jr., of DuPont Company.
