—At a meetmg of" the Democratic Committee for the Legislative District of Culpeper and Rappahannock counties held on the 23rd day of March, 1951.

PRESENT: James W. Fletcher, Chairman, of the Democratic Committee of Rappahannock County, Virginia, and C. M. Waite, Chairman of the Democratic Committee of Culpeper County, Virginia.

On motion of C. M. Waite, James William Fletcher was made chairman of the Democratic Legislative District Committee and C. M. Waite made Secretary of the Democratic Legislative Committee comprising the counties of Culpeper and Rappahannock.

The following resolution was unanimously adopted: That the candidate for the position of Representative for the counties of Culpeper and Rappahannock in the House of Delegates of Virginia ibe nominated in the August 7th, 1951, primary and they shall be subject to the law, rules and regulations governing sajid primary
