derwent a major operation at the Warren Memorial Hospital about 10 days ago, has returned to her home. It is reported that her recovery is satisfactory.

Rudolph Singleton with a party of friends of Fayetteville, N.C., stopped on Saturday for a short visit with his parents enroute to Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. Holden Henshaw and children Karen and Joe and Miss Mary Belle Smith of Madison, were dinner guests on Sunday—of Mr. and MrsT-J.- Rodes - Brown.
