Mrs. Lyne Entertains

Bridge Club Last Week

Mrs. W. H. Lyne entertained the 'bridge club and additional guests on Thursday evening at her hotae in Sperryville. Five tables were arranged for the game. Those playing were Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. J. H. Aylor, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. Carrol] Menefee, Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. R. M. Menefee, Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey, Mrs. Fred Schaeffer, Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. Maude Gore, Mrs. Charles Estes, and Mrs. John P. Snead.

Immediately following the game, a towel shower was given Mrs. Quaintance, who has recently moved into a new home in the F. T. Valley. Thegiftswereattractively arranged in an umbrella decorated and presented by Mrs. Taylor. Refreshments were served by the hostess.
