Two thousand official inspection stations and 10,000 certified mechanics will await nearly one million Virginia motor vehicles on Tuesday, May 1, as the official spring inspection period opens, was the reminder today from Captain W. L. Groth, safety engineer for the State Police, as police authorities urged motorists to have their cars inspected early and avoid the u~ual last minute rush.
