Diane Bruce
Miss Lucy Diane Bruce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. Bruce of Sperryville, will be among the 345 graduates of Longwood College, Farmville, who will receive degrees at Commencement exercises on Sunday, June 11,1967. Miss Bruce will receive a B. S. degree in Business Education. She will attend graduate school at Richmond Professional Institute this summer and has accepted a teaching position in Loudoun County High School, Leesburg, Va. for the 1967-68 session.
Joint Bible School on
June 12-23 in Washington
Vacation Bible School will be conducted for two weeks, Monday through Friday starting June 12 and ending June 23, to be sponsored by the combined Baptist, Methodist and Episcopal Churches of Flint Hill and Washington. Classes will meet from 2 p.m. until 4-.30 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church.
Arts & Crafts Project Meets on June 13th
The arts and crafts group will meet Tuesday, June 13 at the Gab-Inn in Sperryville at 10 a.m. All interested people are urged to attend for the discussion of future plans.
