spent last Wednesday in Wash ington, D.C. They attended a showing of “Hawaii" and were joined for lunch at Evans Farms by Mrs. Sandra Todd and daughter Candy. Mrs. T. W. Latham was an overnight guest Monday of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith at Chevy chase, Md. Mrs. Robert Jeffries of Arlington was an overnight guest last Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. E, G. Hackley and a luncheon guest Thursday of Mrs. Jamesley Dennis and L. H. Luttrell. Miss Landra Dennis will return to her home this week after attending R.P.I. in Richmond. She will return to the college later and attend summer school. Mrs. Victoria Corder and Mrs. Julia Dowell of Culpeper with Mrs. Audrey Mayhugh of Fairfax were visitors Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Scott.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kephart and son Michael of Herndon and Miss Marie Garnett of Farmville were Saturday evening visitors of Mrs. Sarah Latham and family. C. R. Walter of Charlottesville was a caller Monday of Mrs. S. W. Riley. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rowzie and Miss Carol Ann Rowzie left today for Richmond to attend the high school graduation of Miss Ellen Richardson. They will also visit the Rev. and Mrs. John H. Willis III in Powhatan. Sfc. James T. Hackley spent a two week furlough with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Johnie Hackley. He will leave June 14 for Vietnam. Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Semones spent several days last week in Fayetteville, N. C. visiting their son-in-law and daughter Sp4 and Mrs. Edward Hicklin. Mrs. Elwood Campbell of Miami, Fla. is spending the summer with her sister Mrs. Ruth Corbitt. This week they visited Mrs. Corbitt’s granddaughter, Mrs. Barbara Winters in Beltsville, Md. and Mrs. Campbell’s granddaughter, Mrs. Betty Dice in Berwyn, Md.
