Two young men from Etlan were hospitalized Sunday with injuries sustained in a single car crash on Route 231 about eight miles south of Sperry ville early that afternoon. They are Woodrow Wilson Leake, Jr., 21, and his brother John William Leake, 19. Woodrow Wilson Leake Jr. was operating a 66 Chevrolet heading south when he lost control of the vehicle on the :rest of a hill. It struck a bank on the right, rolled down the road, turning over several times. Both men were thrown from the car, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin, who investigated. Both crash victims were taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. William was transferred to the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville with head injuries and lacerations anu abrasions of the entire body, said Mr. Buntin.
