Queen Contest
Sperryville Fire Department will sponsor a Carnival Queen Contest in connection with their annual carnival scheduled for July 12 through 15. Girls in the area, ages 12-18 are eligible to compete. Flower Show Set
For Tomorrow
The flower show sponsored by the Rappahannock County Garden Club which is to take place tomorrow, Friday, June 9 should be of equal interest to flower growers and flower lovers. The show is scheduled for the hours of 2 to 9 p.m. at Sperryville F 1 e m e n t a r y School. There are classes for all members of the family to exhibit arrangements. This includes special classes for men and children and classes for single specimen. Kntries must be at the show before 10 a.m. Friday,,morning. The show will have three exhibit groups, Horticulture, Artistic and Fducational. These are divided into subclasses. Ribbons will be award' ed.
