Miss Martha Jane Walter, daughter of Mrs. John Harrison of Washington, Va. and '-•'the late Thomas L. Walter, Sr. became the bride of George Everett Kidwell, Jr. on Saturday, June 3, 1967. Mr. Kidwel] is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Kidwell of Amissville.
The wedding took place in the Washington Methodist Church, Washington, Va. at one o’clock. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Edward Pruitt, pas:or of the church. Miss Sandra Foster of Flint Hill was organist. The church was decorated with arrangements of mixed garden flowers and candles. The bride, given in marriage by her stepfather, worea floor, length gown of white satin which she had designed and fashioned. It was made with a lace bodice and elbow length sleeves. The detachable train fell from an Empire waistline which was accented in front with a flat bow. Her veil of illusion was attached to a coronet of seed pearls and crystals and she carried a bouquet of small mums and daisies. Matron of honor was Mrs.
