Graded Schools
Commencement Held
The three graded schools of Rappahannock County held a commencement . exercise for the seventh grade students receiving certificates last Wednesday evening. Graduates are Hugh Frye, Alvin Jordan, Willie Turner, Ronnie Myers, John Porter, Ray mond Williams, Florence Turner, Arnold Turner, David Jones, Lawrence Turner, Em est Dennis, Thomas Wigingtor\ Delois Gibbs, Sarah Dearing, Gwendloyn Roberts, Lily Free man and Beverly Freeman. On the program were Nancy Jones as Mistress of Ceremonies and Henry Turner read the scriptures followed by a prayer by Cassandra Frye. Ernest Dennis extend ed a welcome to those attend ing with a response by Debo rah Turner. Superintendent of Schools, O. A. Norton was guest speaker and certificates were presented by Mrs. Corina Fountain. Others speaking were Delois Gibbs, Raymond Williams, Thomas Wigington, and Ron nie Myers.
