Mrs. Charles Battaglia who spent last week with her parents returned to her home in New York City on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Weirs of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend at their country home. William Harrison and Jack Wayland accompanied Boy Scouts George Woodward, C. E. Dodson, Bill Kilby. Bobby Lee Smelly. Bill Stokes, Eddie and Gary Wayland and Roy and Charles Thomas on a trip to Canada. They plan to visit Niagara Falls and Expo 67 and other points of interest. Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Taylor of Orange and Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Lyne, Jr. and sonWickliff of Newark, Dela. were luncheon guests of Mrs. W. H. Lyne and David Lyne on Monday at Graves Mountain Lodge. County Agent Lyne is attending a meeting at Blacksburg this week. Mr6. John Eubank and Mrs. F. D. Coffey make frequent trips to visit their father, Robert Nethers a patient in University Hospital and report his condition as satisfactory.
