A budget for Rappahannock County for the fiscal year beginning July 1, wasapproved by the Board of Supervisors at their June meeting held Friday. The budget was adopted as proposed by the budget committee with one addition. An allocation of $600 was made for a part time assistant Extension Agent. This had been deleted from the budget prior to publication since there had not been an assistant available. However, G. H. Clark, District Extension Agent, was present to request that this be included and that there is now an available agent. An assistant, as Rappahannock has had in previous years, works in both Rappahannock and Warren Counties and is concerned primarily with 4-H work. The $600 is Rappahannock’s part for salary with other revenue coming from Warren County plus federal funds.
