If you see some of the RCHS girls strolling around the halls or elsewhere with a book on their head instead of in their hands, you will know they have been selected to model in the upcoming fashion show sponsored by the Rappahannock Women’s Club. The book balancing act is supposed to help attain poise for promanading.
The Fashion Show is scheduled for Saturday, Sep1 tember 23 at the local elementary school and proceeds will go toward play, ground equipment for it.
Finally! Can you believe it? SCAT tests are over for the year and only a couple of us put dots in the wrong places and on the wrong papers.
Several meetings were held during the week including the SCA officers who met Monday to suggest possible candidates for the position of president. An election will be held next week for that Dost only.
Varsity cheerleaders met Tuesday to discuss types, of uniforms available for the year and to make a decision. This will have to be approved by the principal, Mr. Wingfield and then the go light for acquiring the outfits.
The N.H.S. met Wednesday and among items on the agenda was a discussion of the use of money which the group made on book sales.
