Youth charged
A young man who gave his address as Sperryville was arrested early Saturday morning for the possession of controlled drugs. The man, George Pierce Pipkin, was found with marijuana in his possession by Trooper Dean Irvine.
The officer had been investigating a traffic crash on Route 211 near Washington when Pipkin hurried through the scene. He was released on a $500 bond and a hearing is set for October 20 in Rappahannock County Court at 2 p.m. □
