Women’s Club Fashion
Show is September 23
SEPTEMBER 23 IS THE DAY that the Rappahannock County Women’s Club, in conjunction with the Southern Department Store of Warrenton, will sponsor a Fall Festival Fashion Show at 2 p.m. at the Elementary School.
Proceeds of the Fashion Show will be donated to the Elementary School for playground equipment.
Dan Jamison, an announcer at Radio Station WEER in Warrenton, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
All of the models will be local. They include:
Mrs. Francis Leonard, Mrs. Virginia Miller, Mrs. Linda Hahn, Mrs. Darlene Moore, Mrs. Pat Giles, Bernie Pater, manager of Southern Department Store; Mrs. Aileen Barnes, Miss Anne Baumgardner, Miss Jeannie St. Clair, Miss Debbie Smoot, Miss Susan Latham, Miss Angela Dennis, Patricia Hargett, Andrew Elli^, and Christopher and Christina Kozik.
Culpeper Beauty Academy will be in charge of arranging hair and wig styles.
A TEA WILL BE served by the Women’s Club members following the display of fall fashions. Drawings will be held for door prizes.
Advance ticket sale is available through all club members and models. Tickets will also be sold at the door; $2 per adult, $1 per student. □
