ter school for participation in a photography club, the members have agreed to hold the meetings at night. Tonight, September 14, is the date of the next meeting which begins at 7 p.m. at the high school. No equipment is necessary to join the group. The purpose of the organization is to teach students how to use a camera and how to develop pictures. Anyone interested is invited to come.
Girls basketball is proving an interesting sport this year and the girls hope they will receive the support of all. Their first game is set for Monday, September 18 in Luray High School at 7:30. Let’s back them up this first game.
The team consists of Margaret Jett who has long arms; Faye Dunn with long legs; Sharon Foster, who has also been a track fan; Cheryl Poling, Betty Compton, Mollie Dennis, Debbie Hudson, Peggy Scroggins, Judi Burke, Marian Skowronski, Carolyn Woodward, Cil Davis, Robin Estes, Lisa Day, also a track enthusiast, and Rosa Jordan, who especially invites spectators to support the team.
