IT WAS Miller's turn to disagree with what had been said. He said the state set up various priorities for projects, and didn’t spend all it had in one area, so why couldn’t this be done on the county level as well.
“Are you suggesting the appropriation be made according to magisterial districts?” asked Skeens.
“I’m suggesting that the system is inequitable,” replied Miller.
Added Mrs. Betty Coates: “Since I’ve been a Supervisor, all the new constructions has been inAmissville.”
“There’s been a need in Amissville,” said Supervisor Latham.
Skeens cited a specific road problem in Mrs. Coates’s District — “Mrs. Day’s road,” he called it. The solid rock that would have to be blasted and moved to improve that road would “take the whole budget for a number of years,” he said.
