MARY McCOMAS, secretary for the Conservation Center, transferred to the “zoo” from the Department of Agriculture. She’s doing the same i, kind of work for Wemmer she did for her last boss, so she claims the transition has been smooth. But one aspect of her job changed, the spelling became more difficult. So she’s added two books to her desk top collection, a German dictionary and a three-volume set, “Mammals of the World.” □
COOK OUT
There will be a cook out Friday evening, August 1 at 7 p.m. at the home of Miss Catherine Carter. Proceeds to benefit the King and Queen Rally, First Baptist Church.
