Gauge testing
As the fresh garden vegetables keep coming in, pressure canners are staying busy and canners should make sure pressure canner gauges are registering correctly. Pressure canner gauges will be tested at the Extension Office Tuesday, August 5 from 9 a.m.-noon and Thursday, August 7 from 9 a.m.-noon.
Bring just the lid to the pressure canner and the pressure gauge. For information call 6753619.□
Revival
The Woodville Baptist Church will hold a revival starting Sunday morning, August 3, and lasting until Friday the 8th. The evangelist will be the Rev. L.J. Sauders, Jr., of the Baptist Home, Culpeper. Services will start each evening at 7:30 p.m.
