Chester No. 5 was judged the best appearing pumper from town over 500 population while Orange was second. From a town under 500, Flint Hill was named best with Castleton second. The best appearing fire company was Falmouth with Mineral second and Falmouth was also the company coming longest distance.
FLINT HILL had the best appearing rescue squad with Chester Gap next and South Warren was the best auxiliary. Manassas Parkettes were named best majorette group, followed by Madison Mountainettes. Best drum and bugle corps was the Revengers with Falls Church second.
