Mrs. Lillard

A funeral for Mrs. Martha Utz Lillard of Etlan was held Sunday at the Etlan United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Peter Burkett. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lillard, 65, died Friday, July 25, 1975 in Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville following a short illness. She was a native of Madison County, the daughter of the late Waymond and Catherine Jenkins Utz. She was a member of the Etlan United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John P. Lillard; three daughters, Mrs. Charles K. Estes of Sperryville, Mrs. Robert Royston of Charlottesville and Mrs. James A. Watson of Richmond and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Roy Lillard of Etlan and Mrs. Catherine Lillard of Washington, Va. and a brother, Levi L. Utz of Criglersville.D
