Your news account in the July 24 edition, pertaining to the Rappahannock Ski Area, contained some very misleading statements which I would like to correct. For instance, on page 2 in the paragraph starting with, “Newbill Miller pointed out...,’’ in the next to the last sentence, your reporter stated. “That would mean all 1,500 lots could be filled with trailers all the time.’’ Your paper made a verbal increase of tenfold. The Special Use Permit request is for up to 150 recreational vehicles at any one time, not 1.500 as you stated. Moreover, there will not be 1.500 lots. Since we have not made application to subdivide, there can be no lots. The 1.500 purchasers would share in the ownership of the entirety, they would be tenants in common, each purchaser would have one undivided interest. Since no purchaser is entitled to any specific portion of the property , there could be no subletting (or any individual construction for that matter).
