witn regard to tne use to be made of the roads, I don’t think it is fair to suggest that the County is going to be faced with 150 vehicles, or a large part thereof, going in and out every day. That would presuppose that these gas eaters and the people who own them are constantly on the move. This is not a public campground, it is doubtful that most of the skiing owners would have campers whereas public facilities draw from an unlimited source of such vehicles. Further, all I can do is guide myself by the Ordinance that I am supposedly under. This is commercial property under Article 7, and Article 7 states, “This zone should be equated to major transportation roads or industrial areas.”
Finally, in order to make the facility available to the residents of Rappahannock County so that they don’t have to pay the high ownership costs, we propose to establish a special membership for these people so that they would not have to purchase an interest.
But this is not enough incentive to make someone come to the hearings. Likewise, it is not enough that this resort area would have to be of some economic value to the community by way of business and jobs. As is usual in matters of this type, primarily those who are opposed speak out.
