THE LOCAL Chapter of the American Red Cross held its annual meeting in Warrenton July 23. Among the 30 members present were Mrs. Mary Cleverley Flint Hill; Mrs. C. Stewart Cooley, Amissville; Lt. Gen. Hugh Exton, Amissville; Mrs. Roberta Jackson, Boston and Mrs. Mary Jordan, Flint Hill.
Lt. Col. Austin W. Bach, Chapter Chairman, expressed the appreciation of the Chapter to Mrs. Cleverley and Mrs. Jordan for the excellent work that they, with the help of their committees, had performed for the 1975 Fund Campaign. Mrs. Jordan was awarded a five-year pin for Red Cross Service, Mrs. Cooley received a ten-year pin. Mrs. Mary Lee Frye of Huntly and Mrs. Nils Tholand of Sperryville were not able to be at the meeting to receive their fiveyear and fifteen-year pins.
