Mr. and Mrs. Wray Windle and granddaughter Jessica Windle of Front Royal were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. Roland Welch. Bill Welch of Charlottesville spent the weekend with his parents.
Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Gavor Foster and Chris entertained with a cookout and homemade ice cream for Miss Roberta Eykholt of California who returned to her home Wednesday after a 30-day visit with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin, Jr. of Hartwood. Guests were Darryl Corbin, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin Jr., Brad, Mike and Jeff; Dan Corbin of Belgium, Mrs. Ertha Corbin, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster. Chris returned home with the Corbins for a week’s visit with his uncle and aunt.
The Foster and Corbin families attended a picnic Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin, Sr. in Culpeper for Miss Eykholt. Lt. Col. and Mrs. Ken Harrison of Hartwood also attended. □
