ANYONE who wants to keep a bird of prey can expect to spend two to three hours of daylight time with each bird each day. It’s not an avocation for someone with a nine to five job. Bradley said the divorce rate among falconers is the highest in the world; the only way to stay married is to be married to a falconer. “Then she can go play with her bird while you play with yours,” he said.
