Elaine Tharp of Castleton was given a purse and Leon Smith of Sperryville got the ash tray while Mazie Clark and Dawn Fisher, both Washington, each received a compote bowl. The afghan donated by Mrs. Carrie Cornell went to Mrs. Louise Foster of Washington.

DOOR prizes given went to Mike Williams of Chester Gap who received a cake plate and flower arrangement while Melody Poehler got a buttonhole maker and a fruit arrangement.

Edie Eastham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Eastham was named “Little Miss Washington” while the title of Honorary Fire Chief went to Sheila Fritts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reid Payne. Coronation ceremonies were held Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
