“We couldn’t justifiably cut anybody,” Fleetwood said. “Maybe after six weeks some of the students will figure they, can’t cut it and drop out, but we didn’t feel we could tell any to drop out,” Fleetwood said.
The size of the Algebra One classroom means that “physical closeness” is not bad. Adkins handles the students well, Fleetwood said, noting again that the class includes a “large number of capable students.”
“If the students are good, you can manage,” Arthlinda Quaintance said.
