Mrs. Elizabeth Norman Burke, 68, of Woodville died September 9, 1975 at her home. She was a life long resident of Rappahannock, the daughter of the late Will and Mollie Settle Norman, both Rappahannock natives.

She was a merchant, the owner of Burke’s Store, Woodville and a member of the Woodville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Burke is survivied by her husband Weldon R. Burke; a daughter, Mrs. James Falls and two grandchildren, all of Woodville.

Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Fortune and Mrs. Roscoe Burke, both of Front Royal, Mrs. Raymond Hawkins and Mrs. Susie Settle, both of Culpeper; two brothers, Milton Norman of Culpeper and W. B. Norman of Front Royal.

A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel, Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. B. G. Titchenall, the Rev. Allen Estep and the Rev. Kirby Shenk. Burial will be in Woodville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Wilson Burke, Roscoe Burke, Kenneth Fortune, Clifton Clark, George K. Miller, A. F. Cannon, Emory Conners and Marshall Burke. □
