William Young Kvaraes, 18 years old, of Chevy Chase, Maryland and North Wood in Gid Brown Hollow was killed in an accident on Tuesday, May 3, 1977. His car left the road in Rock Creek Park and rolled down a 40-foot embankment, landing in rain swollen Rock Creek. Autopsy reports showed cause of death as asphyxiation by drowning.
