Gobbler

Season

Closes

James N. Kerrick, Safety Officer for the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, reminds all sportsmen that the Spring Gobbler season will close at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 14, 1977.

Kerrick also reminds the hunters that “Safety IS NO ACCIDENT,” and that extreme care must be exercised at all times while afield. Kerrick stated that during the Gobbler season, which will close Saturday, one person has been killed as a result of an accident, and two persons have been injured. The season began on April 16, 1977.
