The figures which Mr. Buntin presented to the supervisors as to the work load over the past year show that he is carrying out the responsibilities which he has been given. The 130 per cent increase in arrests alone shows that, and that figure is but one part of the increased workload of the Sheriffs Department. Yet, when the Sheriff asks for more help to carry this increased load, the supervisors refuse to carry out their responsibility.
