Rector
Elmo R. Rector of Washington, D. C. Died August 19, 1977 at the Washington Hospital Center. He was 39, the son of Clarence Rector and Mautry Rector of Amissville, who survive him.
Other survivors include three brothers, Thomas, Clarence and James Rector; seven sisters, Lena James, Sarah Thornton, Mary Williams, Doris Lawson, Bettie Tibbs, Yvonne Mosley, and Carolyn Williams; a grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Davis; two sons, Elmo and Jerry Rector.
A funeral service conducted by the Rev. John Pendleton of Flint Hill was held Monday at the Bethel Baptist Church, Amissville and interment was in the church cemetery.
