On August 12, the Washington Rescue Squad carried Dr. Charles Albright from his home in Gid Brown Hollow to Group Health Association in Washington, D. C.
The Flint Hill Rescue Squad answered a call to the Charles Jenkins home in Huntly, on August 14 but transportation was not needed. On August 16, the same unit answered two calls; the first was to the home of Sarah Myers near the Rappahannock River Bridge, but services were not used. Ella Mae Eubanks was taken from her home to Warren Memorial Hospital for the second call.
On August 17, Catherine Washington was taken from the Aileen plant to Warren Memorial Hospital by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad.
