Amissville Rescue Squad on August 16 took Mrs. Dorothy Story from home tc Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. The same day Mrs. Hoffman was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. On the 18th, Donna Early was taken from Amissville fire house, to Fauquier Hospital, and the 22nd this unit took Mrs. Marie Fewell to the same hospital.
Amissville Fire Company responded to a fire on Route 211 August 22 when a vehicle owned by Milton Jenkins was completely destroyed.
