Burke and family in Richmond. Craig Proffitt, who spent last week with the Roy Jenkins family, returned home. L. H. Jenkins is spending two weeks in the Proffitt home.

Members of the adult choir of Reynolds Memorial Baptist gave their comembers, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Atkins a surprise celebration on their 55th wedding anniversary on August 18 at the home of the organist, Mrs. Dennis Wingfield.

Mrs. Lucille Eheart and Miss Madeline Eheart of Arlington spent from Wednesday to Sunday with Mrs. Clarice Clark and her nephew, Bobby Singleton. Mr. Singleton was host at dinner Saturday evening at Holiday Inn, Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Mundy and family of Manassas joined them on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Mathews and Susan Mathews of Front Royal were visitors last Thursday of Mrs. Virginia Lewis.

Mrs. Robert W. Brown was a houseguest last week of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Butler and Susan in Annandale.

Guests last Thursday of Mrs. Ethel Clater were her granddaughters, Mrs. Gloria Snellings of Newport, Mich, and Mrs. Kathy Harris and daughter, Angie of Nevada.

Mrs. Perle Coffey is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
