Elkins

Charles H. Elkins, 73, of Warrenton, died Aug. 16 at Fauquier Hospital.

He worked for Warrenton Hunt Club for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Ada R. Elkins, 5 daughters, Mrs. Josie E. Wright, Miss Elsie M. Elkins, Miss Joan C. Elkins, Bealeton, Mrs. Mable E. Moore, Marshall, Mrs. Mary L. Walker, Viewtown, 4 sons, Earl F. Elkins, Bealeton, Charles H. Elkins, Jr., Luray, Don J. Elkins, Warrenton, Allen E. Elkins, Woodbridge, 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He also leaves 3 sisters, Mrs. Laura Fiddler, Huntly, Mrs. Betty Jenkins, Mrs. Kate Partlow, Front Royal, and 1 brother, Robert Elkins, Front Royal.

Funeral services were conducted Aug. 19 at Moser Funeral Home by the Rev. Joseph Stirman. Interment was at Linden Cemetery, Linden, Va.
