Dies At 77
A funeral for Edgar George Jenkins of Mitchells was held Monday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper with the Rev. J. M. Bratton officiating. Burial followed in New Salem Baptist Church ^Cemetery in Griffinsburg.
Mr. Jenkins, 77, died Sept. 10 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Frank and Lilliam Berry Jenkins. He was a mertiber of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Frazier Jenkins; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Hawkins of Culpeper and Mrs. Frederick Jenkins of Remington; a son, Edgar Jenkins Jr. of Manassas; nine grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter; and four sisters, Mrs. Willie Kubert of Maryland, and Mrs. r Elizabeth Keatts, Mrs. • Melvin Kines and Mrs. Ida > Noakes, all of Front Royal.
